One day I went to the football field to meet with one of the trainers. While at the field, I saw a list of the kids' names with 25 pesos next to each one. I first thought it was some sort of registration fee, but then I found out it was for Rosario, the sister of one of the football players. The trainer explained that the kids asked him to organize collecting a little from each one to offset the hospital costs. Rosario had just been admitted to hospital and the kids were rallying around to help. I was moved by this gesture and I also realized this would be a drop in the bucket for the family.

I had trained Rosario's three brothers, Jonathan (Chuki), Christopher (Bigotes) and Josue (Pollo). Not once had they mentioned their family predicament or asked for any help. I just happened to see the list and ask a few questions. I met Rosario and realized this was something from which I could not smile and walk away. So I am hoping Rosario's story has moved your heart too and we can get some relief for the family.
